Age Suitability

Kallova is a marketplace that connects homeowners (“Clients”) with independent lawn-care and landscaping professionals (“Providers”). This page explains the age at which the app is suitable to use and who is eligible to hold each type of account.

Who can use Kallova

• Clients must be 18 or older. Booking a service is a financial and contractual transaction, so Client accounts are limited to adults.
• Providers must be at least 16. Providers aged 16–17 may work only through our minor-worker program, which requires recorded consent from a parent or legal guardian and restricts the job types they can accept. Providers 18 and over have no such restrictions.
• The app is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 16 to create an account.

Why the app is rated 16+

Kallova contains no violence, sexual content, profanity, gambling, alcohol, tobacco, or other mature media. The 16-and-up suitability reflects that Kallova coordinates real-world services between people rather than any objectionable content:

• Users exchange direct in-app messages with the other party to a job.
• The app coordinates in-person visits to a physical address, and (for Providers, only during an active job) shares live location.
• Using the app involves payments, payouts, and financial information handled through our payment processor.

These are the reasons the experience is intended for teenagers and adults rather than young children — not any unsuitable material within the app itself.
