Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 10, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account with Kallova LLC, which operates the Kallova mobile app and kallova.com — a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent lawn-care and landscaping professionals. It also describes exactly what data is deleted and what, by law, we must keep.

1. Delete your account in the app

The fastest way — no email required. In the Kallova app:

  • Open the Kallova app and sign in if you aren't already.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm by tapping Yes, delete my account.

Deletion is permanent and covers your whole identity: if one phone number is registered as both a Client (homeowner) and a Provider (professional), both profiles are deleted together, and the phone number is released so it can be used to sign up again later.

One exception: deletion is refused only while you have a job in flight — a booked job as a Client, or a job you have accepted as a Provider. Finish or cancel it first, then delete, so a deletion never strands the other party mid-service.

2. If you can't sign in

If you can no longer access the app, email info@kallova.com from the phone number on the account and ask us to delete it. So we only ever delete an account at the request of its owner, we verify control of the account by sending a one-time code to its phone number before deleting. We complete verified requests within the time required by law (generally within 45 days, and usually much sooner).

3. What is deleted

Deleting your account removes your profile(s) and the login identity tied to your phone number, along with the data attached to your account, including:

  • your name, phone number, and profile details (including any profile photo);
  • your saved service address and the yard measurements derived from it (Clients);
  • your identity-verification result and, for Providers, eligibility details;
  • the jobs you booked as a Client, and the ratings and reviews you wrote;
  • your in-app messages;
  • your referral records and any referral credits;
  • your support-chat history;
  • your device push-notification token.

Work you performed as a Provider. Jobs you completed for a Client belong to that Client's records and remain there, but they are unlinked from you — your account is detached from the job. On-site location records and job assignments tied to your account are deleted.

4. What is kept, and for how long

After deletion we retain only what we must:

  • Payment and payout records are held by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., under its own retention schedule, because tax, accounting, and financial-services law require them. They are not kept on Kallova's own servers.
  • If an account was banned for fraud or abuse — a separate step from the voluntary deletion described above — we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of the phone number and the payment card's fingerprint, solely to prevent the banned user from re-registering. A hash cannot be reversed into your phone number. A voluntary deletion is not a ban and leaves nothing that blocks you from signing up again.
  • Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis, and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited time before they age out.
